Zinn's mission I need some help I'm getting frustrated - Guild Wars Forums

Hello all,
I'm trying to do Zinn's Task to unlock the War in Kyrta.. now i have not beat propecies all the way ., i'm up to Iron Mine of Muldane ,, the one where u have to get the armor infused.. I have completed the EotN and according to Wiki I need to complete Zinns task... I have all the campaigns.. and I have Mox's manual which is all checked off???
It has been a while since i've played so it has been a while since i've played so I'm not sure ..
but when i try to enter any mission in the manual it takes me to the tutorial and I traveled to zinn hideout and it tells me that i have to complete the tasks...
But the book is all checked off and won't let me enter any missions .. so the only thing i can think to do is destroy the book and get a new one..
But I wanted to ask and see if anybody else has this problem or if there is anything else i can do..

It consists of three quests, not missions. Please refer here for complete guides and walkthroughs on how and where to do them.

Yes I have it says that I have to enter through the book which I have but is already checked .. like it is completed ... I've tried to enter all the missions and it keeps taking me to the Tuturioal and I've tried talking to Zinn .. So I'm thinking that maybe I have to Destoy the book and go get a new one.. ??? Any ideas

You do not need to complete Zinn's task if you've beaten EotN. You have to do one or the other, not both.

You have to witness Zinn's Trial, so yes, you have to complete Zinn's Task after completing EotN or Prophecies.

So how do I know if I have the war in Kyrta unlocked??? Is it in the Primay Quests?? B/c all i have for that is some mission in Nightfall the one w/2 of them where u have to have Talkora for one and koss for the other..
But my Golem manual is all checked .. i'm pretty sure i completed it .. so if i do have to redo it.Should I trash the book and go get a new one?

I defintely have the Peacekeeper mobs .. but I dont have the Shinning Blade camp on my map... Since I have the mobs.. does that mean that I have War in Kryta unlocked?

to find out if you have completed the golem quests (nox pox and rox) if you no longer have anything in your quest log EXCEPT zinns task..then they are done (otherwise they will still be in your log unless you abandoned them)

to find out if you can do the wik stuff....for zinns trial go to vloxx falls and walk out the door...should be an asruan with a ! over his head...if not then you have either not finished eye or zinns quest

wik is not a primary (or any other) kind of quest, it will not appear in your logs. (until you get the wanted quests)

Mox's book always has Enter Mission on ALL pages no matter what. What you have to do is open your quest log (L) and scroll down to the bottom. One of the sections is Zinn's Tasks Quests, it will be at the bottom. If ALL you have under that section is Zinn's Task, then you've finished the quest and need to return it. If it says something like Retrieve POX powerstone or ROX powerstone or the other one, it means you have to do those.

Also you do not have to do the quest to participate in the WiK extras. ALl you need to have done is beaten EoTN. I've not finished Zinn's task on ANY of my characters yet, but i have 4 that can do WiK things. EOTN is all you really need. EoTN is the easiest to primary mission line thing to complete too.

After beating EOTN, what you have to do is read this, http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/War_in_Kryta/Walkthrough which isnt that hard either. Good luck, have fun, get an oppressors item. and a mini. kill some white mantle. etc etc

Check your quest log. If you have the Deactivate POX, ROX, NOX, quests in your log, then you have to do those before it is complete.

And the book does not magically teleport you to those quest areas. You have to actually go to the areas where the quest is located. The book only teleports you to the tutorial.

It wont let me leave the trial... Golems are blocking the exits??

After all the talking finishes you have to map out of the outpost. You can't walk out or be moved somewhere by talking to someone.

The shining blade camp isn't a outpost or town, so it won't appear on your map. It's located at the soutwest corner of Talmark Wilderness - where Dakutu Village is.

Ok I've made it to the Shinning Blade Village .. but there is no cutscene?? or no exclamtion points for missions

There is no cutscene or exclamation point. You just need to go up to where Princess Salma is in the middle of the camp to activate the dialogue. You need to zone back and forth from Tears of the Fallen until you have heard dialogues 1-4.

err if you mean the missions in the book then no you dont. ive only had to beat eotn, watch the trial then do the dialogs and bounties. then i had WiK unlocked. i never had to do the missions in zinns book.

Watch Zinns trial, map out. Go to the Shining Blade camp listen to cutscene 1. Zone out into tears of fallen, zone back in. Listen to cutscene 2. Zone out into tears of fallen, zone back in. Listen to cuscene 3. Map to LA talk to Keep Gate Guard take the 3 Inquisitor wanted quests from the wanted board. Complete them talk to salma for the next quest. After doing temple of intolerable, zone out of keep back in to start the dialogue for the next quest.
